Andy Eshbach | Principal Oboe
Andy Eshbach is a music educator and freelance performer, earning his Master’s in Instrumental Performance and Bachelor’s in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami. He has previously performed with the Manassas Symphony Orchestra, Capital City Symphony, Henry Mancini Orchestra, Frost Symphony Orchestra, and Frost Wind Ensemble and was an associate member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. He has also performed at the Pierre Monteux Summer Music Festival.
Andy has studied with oboists Carol Stephenson, Robert Weiner, and Amanda Jury and has performed in master classes with Joseph Robinson, Mary Lynch, Frank Rosenwein, and Mark Hill, to name a few. He currently resides in Fairfax, VA, where he performs, teaches private oboe students, and guides sectionals at various schools in the DMV area.
